Our Mission
Kasturba is a charitable organisation situated in Kottayam, Kerala. Named after Kasturba Gandhi, the very symbol of Indian womanhood and an illuminating example of selfless love and dedication, we work for the financial and social security of destitute women and education of needy children. It is to these ideals, that the centre, which is engaged in various humanitarian activities in the interests of women and children, is dedicated.
We serve society by providing training for self employment to unemployed girls, by providing nutritious food to under privileged children and by looking after the cultural life of the people of the locality. As many as 150 families are registered with Kasturba. We are committed to helping them in every possible way.
