Caring, Sharing

We celebrate major festivals at Kasturba with 150 families and give them gifts of rice, coconuts and clothes. The families look forward to the festivals. These are some of the joyous occasions in their bleak lives. We often invite professionals to conduct seminars and do counselling on social issues like alcoholism and drug addiction.

Clarity in vision, purity in deeds

Our major income is from the charity schemes. We have not received any financial support from the Government. We organise food fests, jumble sales and such other ventures to raise funds for our programmes. Kasturba was registered with the Government of India as a Society of Charity in 1960. Our accounts are audited by recognised chartered accountants.
